Ice Aid Charity Hockey Tournament

Official Opening Puck Drop for the Inaugural Ice Aid Charity Hockey Tournament - Ed Hogan, Peter Farrah, Kevin MacNamara

The Inaugural Ice Aid Charity Hockey Tournament was held on Saturday, November 14 at the Bell Sensplex.   Ice Aid was organized and run by Kevin MacNamara (Frank Ryan Catholic School) and Rick Farrah (St. Joseph HS).

The inspiration for the tournament was for board teachers to meet other teachers through a draft hockey tournament and, most important, to raise money for Roger's House and Camp Misquah.  Ice Aid 1 had 84 players and raised $4,000 total.  We look forward to continuing this great tournament for years to come!

Please be advised that the SEMS Pilot Project has been discontinued. Beginning immediately, the Board will return to the SEMS call out system to fill vacancies.

A grand total of $ 7471.32 has been raised through your generosity and compassion! We had a 76% participation rate and $4385.23 was directed toward the Catholic Education Foundation.
